our story

Hello! My name is Jane, 39 years old, raised in the hometown of Houston for 36 Years!

Seoulside Wings was founded by my brothers and I (Lawrence & Josh) in the summer of 2019, after my older brother gave us the opportunity to create a food concept of our own.

We spent nearly a year testing recipes out of his home kitchen before launching our food truck, learning everything the hard way as first-time operators & business owners. The early years were defined by long days, constant problem-solving, and the grind of building a brand through a food truck while navigating the challenges of the pandemic and volatile food costs.

With the unwavering support of our loyal customers and community, Seoulside Wings grew from a neighborhood food truck into a strong local following. In our fifth year, we successfully entered the Conservatory Galleria Food Hall, marking a major milestone that allowed us to refine our operations, grow our team, and reach new customers. Today, with a team of 12 full- and part-time employees, we are excited to continue that growth with our first brick-and-mortar location in Jersey Village, opening February 2026!

At Seoulside Wings, our food is built from our own real recipes and real effort.

Our chicken is brined overnight using a house recipe to ensure every bite is juicy and flavorful, then hand-battered in our scratch-made batter and fried twice the traditional Korean style. All of our sauces are made in house, and every piece of chicken is individually battered and cooked with care.

Our meats are marinated in house using fresh, authentic Korean ingredients, allowing the depth of flavor and balance that Korean cuisine is known for to truly come through in every dish. We don’t take shortcuts, because quality, consistency, and flavor matter.
